Quick Reference of my Sonic OC, Babylon. I mainly did this to get back into digital art again before I attempt to finish any of my more intricate pieces.
Name: Babylon
Age: 18
Species: Wolf
Gender: Female (She/Her Pronouns)
Personality: Bright, bubbly, and hard to sadden. Babylon constantly tries to see the bright side in things and of people. This makes her a friendly, albeit naive, wolf. It's very rare to see her upset, wearing a smile even if her heart is breaking. This also makes it hard for her to be afraid of dangerous situations or people. She isn't the brightest of people either, which shows through her broken speech.
Likes: Winter, fresh fruit, hunting, herbal medicine, tea, hot chocolate, swimming, rain, dancing
Dislikes: Upset friends, droughts, fighting others, sitting still
Sonic Universe Backstory:
Babylon was born into a tribe similar to the echidna culture and discovered her love of helping others when she'd help nurse wounds the other children would have. This led her to become the local healer/shaman, using her talents for nature and herbs to heal the sick and rid them of any curses. After training someone to take her place, her adventurous spirit led her to leave the village and set out to help and heal as many people as she could.
Non Canon Backstory:
Like stated before, Babylon was born into a native tribe and became a shaman, but under multiple reasons despite her love of helping others. When she was young, it became apparent that Babylon had a close connection to the spirit world, often saying things only a deceased relative would know, or speaking to herself as if someone was with her. The village decided to make her the shaman, which put her spiritual prowess to good use. This comes with a side effect however. Each time she enters the spirit world to speak, it often takes a piece of her mind or health. This led to her broken speech and awkward tendencies. Her village was destroyed by the gods they worshiped and feared, leaving her to be the lone survivor. She now lives in a hut outside of the city with her close friend Durzam (owned by
) and constantly battles to maintain control, all with a smile on her face.
